With live music and a great crowd this is a fun place to have drinks with friends or make friends. The bar is usually full but easy to get to. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Although our group didnt order food...it had an awesome looking exposed pizza station and good options on the menu. Check them out!

Came here for a few drinks pre-movie at ipic and it wasn't the worst bar in the world but it wasn't the best either. Came on a Thursday night around 9 in early July and there were a few people in here, but it for sure wasn't packed. Grabbed some seats at the bar and immediately the bartender walked away rather than saying hi or "I'll be right over". This kind of rubbed me the wrong way since you're in the service industry and working for tips. When she finally came over a good 3-4 minutes later it seemed like it was an annoyance that I was asking for a wine list. There was live music here the night we came, but they did not seem very enthusiastic or very good to be honest. They were half-assing everything and nobody seemed to care or want to dance much. The singer was kind of atrocious but I'm not judging the bar based on the crappy band they hired for the night. Then again, they did hire them. When it came time to pay the tab (we had been sitting at the bar for a total of an hour) it took longer than expected to run the card and get out of there. It was actually pretty expensive for 2 vodka tonics and 2 glasses of wine-$45 with a tip (I'm not one to skimp on service no matter how crappy, I know how hard these guys work and how they tip out most places). The barback was actually the nicest person working that night and swapped out napkins for me more than once, and when the check came without a pen had one behind his ear he immediately offered after hearing me say there was no pen. Why a barback had a pen? Don't know, but I wasn't even asking, he just offered. Thanks, kid. I would come here again on another night. I wasn't in the hottest mood that night to begin with and maybe that soured my experience, so maybe it would put a rose filter over my eyes next time around.

Stopped on for Irish coffee after dinner. Not crowded to the point of uncomfortableness but the place was pretty full ..but not jammed for a saturday night which was surprising. Most people sat outside but we got a spot at a table and quickly ordered 2 irish coffees...i love their irish coffee, The crowd was entertained by a great reggae band and that was reallt good..we finished our coffee and were on our way. i will come back again and again for their irish coffee when im in mizner!!.

Came here for happy hour. Nice area, indoor and outdoor seating. Great happy hour menu and prices!!! My waitress was knowledge about the beer selection and was very friendly. Outdoor seating is nice (on a nice cool day) with a view of the street and to people watch. The indoor seating area does get loud and crowded. I highly recommend the fondue appetizer, its healthy and delicious.

This was my second time dropping in to Dubliner for a drink after an event, and I'm still just as happy. With the help of Nancy M. we were able to get quite a few tables together to fit our large group and the staff made it very easy for us to get separate checks. Lucky for me I had a $50 gift certificate and after paying I still had $12 on it, which our server politely gave me back with a new balance :) I must say that the Dubliner is a great drinking hole, and if I lived in Boca I would happily frequent it to grab some ciders with friends!

I've been here a handful of times now, so I am ready to do this review. I have been putting it off because sometimes the food is very good and sometimes it's not. The same applies to the service. I was hoping to see some consistency in my recent visits, but sadly I have not. The location is great. Situated right across from Kapow it makes it easy to go back and forth between the two. Both restaurants have outdoor seating right next to eachother in the courtyard. Coming from parking garage "A", as you get out of the elevator and go down the steps and enter the courtyard you will see Kapow directly to the right and Dubliner directly to the left. Irish or Asian? I say try both restaurants. After all they have the same ownership team. I love the Chicken Drums ($10). They are prepared with a very flavorful Guinness Honey Glaze. I also would recommend the Irish Sliders ($10). These little sandwiches are stuffed with corned beef, cabbage, onions and a nice sweetish mustard. You really can't go wrong with any of the sliders or the wings. One thing I would like to try is the Shepherd's Pie ($16.50). It looks very good. However it is loaded with carbs, so for that reason I will not be ordering it anytime soon. But it really looks delicious. Last week I tried a few bites of Diane's Irish Fondue ($13.50). She ordered it during happy hour so it was reduced to $7.00. The cheddar and gruyere cheese was tasty and served piping hot. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4-7pm. Almost all of the appetizers are $7.00 on the Happy Hour menu. Great value. I didn't care for the Prince Edward Mussels ($14). The mussels are cooked in your choice of three sauces. I had mine prepared in the Traditional sauce. The menu description claims this sauce has tomatoes, garlic and leeks with a touch of cream. I was disappointed because my sauce was flavorless. It really had no flavor at all. Normally the sound level is average. Last week we had the unfortunate experience of being in the restaurant while a concert was going on in Mizner Park. We had a small table in the back of the restaurant and we couldn't hear a thing. I was completely aggravated. I was looking forward to catching up with my friends over a nice dinner. Conversation was limited because it was so loud. Had we known this we would have had dinner somewhere else. I do not love this restaurant but I don't dislike it either. I wouldn't go out of my way to return, however if I was with someone who really wanted to go, then I would go along with them.

Enjoy the Dubliner for their happy hour. $7 appetizers including mussels, $7 well brand cocktails and drafts. Have had their coconut curry mussels (pretty good), their fondue (ok), corned beef and prime rib sliders (both good). A great deal in Mizner park - love to sit outside. Manager and servers all very friendly too

So very surprised by my first endeavor into chicken and waffles - spicy, crunchy, zesty with "bready" waffles and bourbon laced syrup. I was warned by my counterpart not to try and when it came he looked crestfallen and said "I should have ordered that." Reuben omelette was good but not nearly as eccentric or enticing as the chicken and waffles. Potatoes could have been warm and crispier. Bottomless mimosas kept coming...great place for Sunday brunch!

Love the food here, haddock sandwich is amazing. Wings are delicious as well as the Guinness Mac and cheese! Service is very attentive and welcoming as well! Best kept secret in Boca for the food by far.

Good food, great staff and plenty of drink options. We usually go and just order a bunch of appetizers and drinks. The Irish fondue is really good and comes with a variety of things to dip, the wings are awesome - some of my favorite around. I have also tried the Irish Dip, Roast Beef Sliders, Irish sliders, Fish n Chips, Mac n Cheese, Scotch Eggs, potato leek soup, Shepherd's Pie, and NY Strip - all I can say is everything I have ordered has been great! My only negative comment is sometimes the bottle beer is not cold enough. Other than that I recommend it!

Honestly we had an amazing experience here last night. We went for the Boca Raton/Pineapple Magazine event. I was impressed with the Toys for Tots decorations they had hanging from the rafters. There was a lot of nice people, but the service was incredible. We actually had planned to stop by and then head over to Kapow for dinner, but we were having such a great time we decided to stay and eat here instead. Our server, Ally (I asked her name a couple of times just so I got it right) went out of her way to accommodate us. We originally had our card at the bar, but she moved it over for us to a table, where we ordered more drinks and split a chicken sandwich. Food was really good, the bar was packed, and there was actually some fine looking gents here #winning. This was actually the 3rd or 4th time I had been here. We sometimes sit outside when there's a concert we want to hear over at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. You just have to make sure you get there early enough to get an outside table and you can hear EVERYTHING from the Mizner Park Amphitheater. We even used a Restaurant.com coupon and the manager came over to ask how everything was which, in my opinion, is a fantastic way for a restaurant to utilize this customer touch point opportunity. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This is my favorite bar in Mizner Park! The ambiance is chill, bands are amazing, food is delish, drafts beers, awesome cocktails... Outside seating allows you to enjoy the beautiful South Florida weather. Everyone is super friendly...specially Jeremy - ask for him at the bar! I love my neighborhood bar!

It is places like the Dubliner Irish Pub that makes me want to visit this area more frequently. I came here for brunch on Sunday with my family, and the food was superb, but the service could have been better. I ordered the omelet, and it was everything I expected cheesy and greasy. (What else can you expect from an Irish pub?). The side of potatoes were also crisp. I also had the chance to try the corned beef, and it was probably the best I've ever had-- meaty, tender, and succulent. The service was ehhh! I asked to charge my phone at the bar, and the lady gave me a stank face. I know that you are not supposed to charge your phone, but honestly, when you are one of only two parties in the place, the least you can do is plug my phone in. Also, when I asked for my phone back, she waited a bit and kind of ignored me. I would come back here again for the food. Now only if they improved their customer service, I would have given this place five stars.

This place is living off it's history more than anything else. People like the idea of an Irish pub but this one is not as good as it used to be. It looks like a nice place to get some food and drinks but the staff makes you feel like you're at a dance club after midnight. Servers and bartenders are really good at annoying you and pretending your not there. It takes a long time to order drinks and even longer to get them. They have bouncers there unnecessarily bullying the patrons. Go here if you're 19 with a fake ID

This is a fabulous restaurant with incredibly delicious appetizers , entrees and ice cold beer. I had a wonderful time with Diane, my wife and another friend. We split roast beef and corned beef sliders and a macaroni and cheese dinner. The manager Shaun was incredibly attentive and helped our server Kris cater to our every need. Some nights they have really great Irish entertainment. I love their happy hour featuring half priced beer. Their staff is terrific. We also had a fantastic chocolate cake and ice cream dessert. We left perfectly satiated. Shaun is a wonderful host who always greets us and follows us through our tremendous meals at Dubliner. Thanks to Shaun we'll be revisiting this authentic pub often.

Overall, one of the longest standing bars/restaurants in Mizner with a winning formula. The food is actually not bad and their Mac & Cheese is a major hit. Personally, I like their Irish Dip sandwich aka French Dip. On weekdays, they have some trivia and karaoke nights. Weekends, they have lots of live bands and they are actually pretty good. Very refreshing from the typical DJ/house music that's played all over town. The crowd is defiantly 21 - 35 and always has a good mix of people there on weekends. Two complaints here. 1) the bathrooms suck - you will wait forever since there is room for only 1 person. It can be a problem on the weekends. 2) I've always been disappointed in their mixed drinks. They usually aren't that consistent. However, you'll quickly learn which bartender to go to. Overall, great local spot, above average food, great bar, live music, awesome beer selection and the staff are excellent.

It's not often the owner himself stops by to check if everything is ok but that's want happens here. Thanks Sean, everything was perfect. Our food was also served by what may be the lady of the house, Herself! This way she makes sure what you get is perfect. A real nice touch. I had the burger that was huge and done exactly as ordered. The Baked Brie app was wonderful as was the PEI mussels. My only disappointment was no bread pudding on the menu. :( but the apple crisp was the best. All in all a very nice casual dining in the middle of stuffy Mizner Plaza

I love the Dubliner. Maybe not the crowd on weekends, but sitting outside got me away from the loudness inside, plus Mizner is a great area to people watch. Let's start with service. Their service is excellent. Their staff is attentive and nice. I've seen the owner there a lot, which I've only really talked to him once at a Yelp Elite event that was hosted here, but he is awesome. He is always helping out and makes sure the customers are happy. Its just really refreshing and also apparent that his dedication has paid off - the place is awesome. They have quite a few Irish standards on draft including Magnets - good for me since I'm not a Guineas person. We have had the fish and chips and Irish fondue here. I expected not much out of an Irish fondue, I don't know why, but usually fondues end up being a small amount of cheese dip. Not here! There was a good amount of the fondue, and it was amazing. The cheeses they use were good and flavorful and the lager in it paired perfectly. It was amazing with the apples and pretzels. Then later when we got our fish and chips, we still had some fondue so we dipped the fries in it which was great. Their fish is crispy, flaky, and nicely cooked. The potatoes are basically really perfectly cooked wedges with a nice layer of seasoning. So good. Definitely the best Irish place around for good, comfort food. This is easily a favorite in south Florida and definitely the place for cheese and pretzels anywhere within a few hours.

This is a big local hangout and can get very busy. There is seating outside and inside. To be seated you go the front of the restaurant and sometimes the girls can be a little distracted.( this was our case) We just went ahead and sat ourselves and picked up some menus. The waiter spotted us and came immediately. This time we were just there for drinks. We ordered they came fast changed location throughout the night and they still found us and delivered great service. It's a great place to listen to live music we enjoyed the band and by the end just got up and started dancing. The only issue at this location in the bathroom. They only have one stall and there is typically a line around. There is a sign that says go outside up some stairs and you can find a public bathroom. Umm...ok. Random. Overall not a bad experience. Will come back.

Had the salmon and my wife had the Irish dip. Out freaking standing! We both asked to sub the potato options with veggies and they were accommodating. Mine was awesome. Creamy dill sauce on perfect salmon on a bed of perfect cooked veggies! Omg. My wife asked for raw horse radish and was very happy. Great place and good beer

Dubliner = Happy hour, trivia nights, live music, St. Patrick days, meeting friends, watching games, funny notes coming out of there on Karaoke nights, and, of course, beer (they have a full bar too). The one thing I had not experienced was the food. Well, we changed that this past Friday when, my friends and I went exactly for that... food. You see, Yelp BPB has teamed up with different places to offer special dishes, drinks, etc. for people who check-in, on the app. Dubliner is one of these places and throughout the month of January they will offer the "Yelp's Bursting Mac & Cheese". Ok, I only know two people that hate cheese, the rest of you, how can you resist the words Mac & Cheese? Just mentioning it takes just about everyone to a nice, comforting place. Well, imagine that but now, not only your inner kid will be satisfied but the "adult" in you will too... they have added breadcrumbs, bacon, truffle oil (I know your mouth is watering) and a hint of Guinness. This comes out in a hot skillet, it's rich, it's creamy, it's full of flavor and so amazingly delicious. Of course we had to pair it with beer. The server made some suggestions, based on other beers we like and in no time we had them at our table. While you are waiting, you can draw on the table with the color chalk they have - my inner kid loves this. Anyway, back to the Yelp's Mac & Cheese - the plate is big enough to share but, I warn you... Even though you will be full, you still will be thinking when to come back for more. It is almost addictive. You must try this Mac & Cheese so run! Time goes by fast, and before you know it January is over and so might be this plate. Still, even if that's the case, as I mentioned when I started this review, Dubliner has plenty of reasons for you to visit and stay.

I have been here several times. I always tend to have a great time here. Sometimes they have live bands, karaoke, and Trivia. Since we were near by we decided to try out the special they were offering for Order of the Yelp in the month of Jan. We were hoping we would find a table inside but settled for a table out front. Our waiter was super cool and friendly. Suggested a few beers for us and was able to put up with our indecisiveness. lol. I was trying to be good and go for alight beer instead of choosing the strongest one that they offer. My choice was Blue Moon. I know.. boring but it was good. Love the orangey taste of it and it was smooth. The special offered here for the Order the Yelp was Yelp's Bursting Mac & Cheese! OMG!!! I love mac & cheese and this one was one of my fav. I love the combination of the mac & cheese being topped with breadcrumbs, bacon and truffle oil. I LOVE BACON!! It was heaven. You could also taste the hint of Guinness. I could have probably eaten the whole thing all by myself but I had to share. :) Service was great. We received our order and beer super quick even though it was a busy Friday night. Definitely a fan of Yelp's Bursting Mac & Cheese!

It only seemed appropriate that my first review of the new year would be to review one of the restaurants supporting our "Order the Yelp" event. So we decided to try it at Dubliner. This was not done without a considerable amount of consternation on the part of the restaurant staff, who had no clue what we were talking about. Apparently, the information had stayed at the upper managerial level and hadn't yet trickled down. They assumed it was the same thing as a check-in offer but we explained to them that there was a difference, it was not a freebie just for coming in. The waitress, still confused, went back and talked to someone then came out and asked us what they were supposed to serve. We told her how it read on the Yelp event page, and she scooted off again. Making a quick return, she said, "But we don't have any truffle oil!" I told her that might turn out to be an issue since this event had been promoted for a month among the Yelpers, and we weren't likely to be the only ones ordering it. She shot off one more time, then flew back and told us that she would be flying across the street to Sur La Table to buy truffle oil. Not to be deterred from our quest for some really good mac and cheese, we waited. In the meantime, the guys behind the stoves started whipping up our slider orders. Only moments later she zipped back in, clutching the truffle oil. In less time then it takes some places to bring water and take your order, our entire order was ready! The sliders were good. We had the Irish sliders and the beef sliders. There was some variation in the doneness of the beef on the three nicely piled sandwiches. One was medium rare and the other two were well done. But the horseradish sauce was served nicely on the side as I had requested. The Irish sliders were good too, oddly for corned beef, they needed a bit more salt. The pickled onions were a yummy crunchy addition and the mustard (which is not one of my condiments of choice) was different - lightly sweet and quite tasty. Now to the infamous and hard won "Yelp." This was some really good mac and cheese! It was just a bit over the al dente stage but still nice. The cream sauce was buttery and very rich. It could have used a bit more bacon, I had a hard time finding it. The topping of crumbs and truffle oil was scrumptious, the buttery crunch added another dimension of texture and flavor. I'm glad we just ordered one to split between the three of us, because the richness would have prohibited eating the whole thing. Overall, I would generally give this restaurant 3 stars, but because of their determination to make what we wanted, to the point of sending the waitress out for the oil, they get bumped up a star.

We have been here many times, mostly in the evenings. Yesterday (March 29, 2015), we stopped on our way home from Palm Beach, where there are plenty of fine restaurants. We even considered stopping in Delray, since we don't get up that way often. Bit, instead, we headed to Boca. Parking in the garage was easy (and free!). Added benefit is that the car doesn't get so hot from baking in the sun. We had our 4-month old with us, in a stroller, so we wanted to sit outside. No problem! Great table, in the shade. Our server was fantastic and made some great suggestions on different beers and also made a great food recommendation as well. I was debating on whether to get the Irish Breakfast or the Lamb burger and she suggested the burger. It was so amazing! For beer, she suggested Strongbow, which was so good, we stopped to pick some up for home! Quick service. Great food and wonderful atmosphere.

I would def recommend the Dubliner .... Got a great vibe ... Very nice staff ... Great scotch selection .... Decent craft beers ... That's why not 5 stars ... But overall would recommend if your not feeling the pretentious vibe of mizner's other restaurants/bars... Will be my new "go to" in Boca for sure

So rude! Kicked a party of 6 out of a table bc they needed to clear for the band. We would have happily left but the server was so rude!!! Didn't even offer another option. Probably would have spent more money that all 6 tables on the floor put together. Anyhow would not return!

Yummy appetizers - I especially like the Guiness wings. Fish and Chips were great, and the Tiramasu with Baileys on top was to die for! Not sure if it comes with Baileys as a rule, but if not, order a shot and pour it on! Nice local Irish pub in the middle of Mizner Park with indoor and outdoor seating, and live music several nights of the week.

OK nobody is perfect right? Well fish at this restaurant has always been perfect and this is coming from a very picky person. We go maybe 3 times a month and have always been very pleased. I cook alot myself and wonder how they are so consistent as far as the fish goes. (Our main diet out) We have splerged a few times and had the lamb berger....was excellent. My only regret to this review is too many people finding out about a $20.00 perfect plate of fish. I would pay more but don't let that get out.

I really love the atmosphere here. Very laid back and the service is great! I have had most of the apps but the thing that sticks out most here is their Mac and cheese, it is cooked with Guinness so it is absolutely yummy!

I was down in Delray Beach for a few days visiting a friend. I took her to dinner and she decided this was the place she wanted to go. I can promise that any time I decide to go back down to Boca I will make sure I have dinner here before coming back. Unfortunately, I never went inside because we decided to sit outside and I didn't explore. Our waitress was very attentive and helped us with any questions that we had. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and sat looking at the menu for a bit. There was so much that sounded delicious it was hard to pinpoint exactly what I was in the mood for. I decided to get some potato soup and some Irish Sliders. She had decided not to eat right at that second because she really didn't know what she wanted. I get my potato soup and question whether I have ever eaten anything that quickly in my life. It was gone before I knew it and the Irish Sliders came just in time. Let me describe the sliders for you. Corned beef, deliciousness, cabbage, pickled onions, deliciousness, and sweet grain mustard. Did I mention it was made with deliciousness? So much so that as soon as it got there she asked me to cut one in half for her. After she tried it she ended up taking the other half and ordered another serving. I honestly expected it to be more expensive knowing that Boca Raton is in a higher income area than Orlando. I was surprised that this place was right on the same level as Orlando price range so it didn't hurt. So overall, great food, good drinks, nice atmosphere, well priced, and as soon as I have to chance to go back down for a few days I look forward to some Irish Sliders and potato soup. Maybe a beer this time instead of wine.

I love this place. All the staff are so friendly and the food is generally pretty good-I say generally because I haven't tried a whole lot of the menu. I find myself craving their Mac n cheese so that's primarily what I order! Their honey baked Brie is also delicious. When I bring my dog the manager usually comes around and brings him some roast beef, that's always a plus! My dog loves it! I still haven't come in for happy hour, don't really need to anyway. The prices are fair enough without additional dine-in discounts. It's always a fun place to go at night too. Lots of loud music and dancing (I usually sit outside for this reason) but it's nice having such a fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

My Sister & I were shopping in Misner, and decided to check out Dubliner. From a street view, it's got an open feel to it and definitely has authenticity, We opted to sit outside, it was a great day today. Tables are very cool, massive slate equipped w/ chalk dare you draw. Beer selection is exceptional and the waitress was very knowledgeable. We brought my dogs, which are a fairly large size but well behaved. The owner came by & got them ice water. His name is Shawn - hopefully spelled correctly. He suggested we try the mussels in coconut curry - excellent!! I had the beef brisket with mashed potatoes & vegetables; my sister opted for the sliders both were excellent!! Shawn came by a few more times & brought my dogs some roast beef - couldn't believe it! Great guy, awesome place! He also brought us a few drinks on the house!! HIGHLY recommended - Thanks Shawn - Freddie & Butterfly.

You know what? The Dubliner isn't as bad as I first made it out to be. They have a decent list of beers and to be honest, some of the food other tables around me had looked pretty tasty. The service can be hit or miss at this place but for what the place is, I'm not surprised. I usually sit outside and enjoy my drinks with a few friends. Their tables have chalk at them so you can doodle obscene images or profess your love for your mixed beverage. Their cover band on Saturdays isn't absolutely terrible either. Once I heard them do a Fugazi song and that's when I decided this place isn't half bad. And in between the band's breaks I'm pretty sure someone put on Jock Jams. Sure, I bet you're laughing...but if you were there you would have been way into it. A blast from the past and god damnit it got me pumped up to drink my drink.

Way to nice to be called a pub! Very good place to have a few pints, especially in the very trendy Foo Foo Mizner Park. If you brought a real Irishman here, he would be culture shocked into sobriety and probably never stop throwing up. It is a bit of an older crowd and can be jammed with people. It is a solid place, but just lacks true Irish Pub charm and stink. I recommend the Blue Anchor in Delray Beach. The place was a true Irish pub that was disassembled and put back together again in Delray. You can watch all the soccer (football) you want and the scotch eggs and pub curry is fantastic. If you want an evening with the posers and elderly go to the Dubliner. If you want to hang with the true pub goers in the area take the 6 mile drive. (Unless your drinking of coarse). The Walker chips are always sold after the date, so don't think they got over on you. We all eat them like that.

My man and I stumbled across this Irish pub after going to the Escher art exhibit at the Boca Raton Museum or Art. We had low expectations going in, but we should have set our expectations even lower. They do have a decent happy hour from 4-7 - 1/2 price draft beers, wine and well drinks - main thing that makes it good is all the good beers they have on tap. Their wines were Australian for the happy hour which were pretty good as well. The food though... oh the food - was cafeteria quality at best. I ordered a chicken breast special they had and it was dry, overcooked, and obviously from a cheap supplier. My man had a snapper dish that was a bit better. However, the menu is lacking in selection and loaded with unhealthy options. They tend to drown their meats and fish and poultry in fatty sauces so you can't tell how cheap they are. The sides are basically vegetables, mashed potatoes or fries - not very imaginative. In terms of service, it seemed hit or miss - the gal we had was quite clueless, but the guy serving the table next to us seemed quite good. If you go - go for the pub ambiance, beers, and a few appetizers. Don't get your heart set on a good meal - it ain't gonna happen unless your taste buds are dead.

Not your typical grungy Irish pub, hip and cool. Great food, great beer, great service (especially for South Florida) and a fantastic Tuesday Trivia night. Worth the trip, especially if you normally shy away from typically "plastic" haunts of Mizner Park. Don't miss the roast beef sandwiches or the homemade mac and cheese- yum!

I used to go here years ago to hang with friends and drink, but now I'm getting old. Seriously, it's a great place, whether you're looking to have dinner (go early because it gets crowded) or whether you want to go out late and have some drinks. They usually have a live band. On weekend nights it gets so crowded it's difficult to find a seat. They have a great selection of beers, including seasonals, and food is pretty good, especially the Shepard's Pie and potato pancakes, as well as the banana pudding. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was I went last night and the waitress was super slow, I mean we waited 10 minutes after she dropped off the check and had to go find her so we could get out of there. Also, I ordered fish and chips with the delicious fries, but it was lukewarm and I didn't care for the fish and didn't eat it. However I filled up on potato pancakes, the fries (even if they were lukewarm they were still good), banana pudding, washed down with Hoegaarden, and all was well. **Update.. Had to change from 4 stars to 2. The last time I went, I got the brisket, OMG, it was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. It tasted like old dirty water, and it was drowned in tomato sauce (yet the menu did not say it had that kind if sauce). My bf tried it and he agreed it was disgusting as well. I had to return it, which I almost never do, and the manager said that I shouldn't have ordered such "adventurous" things, and that no one's ever returned the brisket. Whatever. I got the sliders which were a bit better, but I wasn't crazy enough about them to take leftovers home. My advice? Go there for drinks and not dinner. At this point, I don't think I'm ever going to eat there again. The "good" things might even be bad by now.

Great place with great service. The owner personally came over to talk to us to see how we liked our meal. We loved our food, comfort food at its best. We filled out a survey of our experience, and received a coupon via email. The Dubliner is obviously customer oriented, and this is such a welcome surprise in Boca.

Still one of my favorite places to go to, especially for a late dinner (after work) around 11:00pm. The only thing i will say is that they changed their menu just a little bit, made it more aesthetically pleasing which is great, but it seems that the prices went up just a tad. kind of a bummer because i love that place, but it doesn't mean i will never go back there, it just means it wont be as often. But the food is definitely worth trying if you have never tried it before! so get in there!

The waitstaff sucks literally the worst I have ever seen in my life.... The people well... it's Boca... what do you expect? But..... the food is good and overall not bad.. we had crabcakes and a sandwich....typical bar type food.... pub style food..... not bad though....

Wandering around Mizner park for the first time on a Friday afternoon, I was craving a little snack. After walking past a few restaurants, I spotted the Dubliner Irish Pub and thought, "this looks much nicer than any Irish Pub's I've been in," and decided to give it a try. My first impression was that it was a place where people get together for beers after work, hang out and listen to live music. But then I checked out the menu and was surprised. Crab cakes? Bangers and Mash? Fondue? Chicken Salad? Not a bad selection. My friend and I grabbed a table outside so we could enjoy the scenery. The tables have slate tops and chalk awaiting in a glass, so if your artistic side wishes to adorn it with poetry or pictures of dogs, you can go nuts. I decided to order the very lightly fried goat cheese appetizer that was joined by a lovely tapenade. I wanted a glass of the Meritage, but they were out so I settled on a Napa Merlot and wasn't disappointed. My friend ordered the crab cakes which were very tasty. Both dishes were presented very nicely. I saw the table next to us had ordered the fondue with veggies and that looked awesome too. As I scanned the other tables, the dishes appeared to be quite big and looked great. I was impressed with the service. The waitress was prompt, refilled my water often and knew when to come in and clear plates without intruding on the conversation. We were checked on by another person who may have been a manager, asking if everything was good. It was nice, and kinda made me feel like they actually cared about my business. I will definitely come back for dinner next time.

This is probably one of the most upscale Irish bar I've seen. It is nice, with chalkboard counters where you could write down your order. The staff was friendly and the place was packed (although most of the people here seemed to be on the elderly side - then again, it's Boca!). I wouldn't mind coming back here, but I definitely will need to go with someone if I'm going to hang out here or I'm going to be hit again by an elderly man. Yuck!

Been many times and the food is consistently good. The fondue and the fish and chips are favorites. The manager Sean never fails to stop by the table to ask how the meal was.

Went with a party of 5. Live acoustic type music that was pretty good. Food was OK.. I ordered Shepard's pie and my man got bangers and mash i think it's called? Food not worth the price. The most annoying part is that a pint of bud light is like, 4.50 and it was poured about an inch from the top.. really? I know it's mizner park and you can get away with ridiculous prices, but you could at least fill your draft beers all the way. Don't see myself coming back because I felt like i got nothing for as high as our tab was. (two entrees and 4 dom. pints= $67, plus tip)

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon to sit in the house and watch football, so we hit up here to grab some grub and watched the action from outside. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. We split the Irish fondue and munched on soft pretzel bites, apple pieces, carrots, and broccoli. Of course, I love comfort food and the special item of the month made me giddy giddy. I ordered the Yelp, which was macaroni and cheese topped with bacon, truffle oil, and breadcrumbs with a spike of Guinness. It was bursting for two! :) Note: I may be back for St. Me's Day since I was off last year for a very good reason.

  • Sarah S.

Split a burger with my boyfriend there.... it was cooked medium as requested, and the fries were good. The service was mediocre... We will go back... we love this place mainly because of its location & the shepherds pie is awesome! Also- they have live music, which we dig.

After having checked out newest location of Dubliner in the Fort Lauderdale Himmarshee District which I rated as an OK Three Star I wanted to check out their Boca location to see if there was any difference. The Boca location is definitely a far more upscale setting, actually has available the beers and ales mentioned on their menu available, generally caters to the same 20 to 30 something crowd, food quality the same, but with basically better, more attentive but still not the best of service. The décor and setting of the Boca location certainly rings my Irish than does the Lauderdale location but interestingly manages to set itself apart from the typical Boca pretentiousness. All in all, out of the two Dubliner the Boca is the better hence my Four Star rating.

This is such a fun restaurant to go to. The food is always good and the menu changes regularly. The last time I went was on a Wednesday night. I was surprised to find that they had an awesome Irish band performing on stage. They were really great. People were up dancing and everyone seemed to be having a good time. In spite of the music and dancing the service was great. It was a little loud but so what. The food was delicious. I especially liked the potato leek soup. My friend had corned beef and cabbage. He said the corned beef was very lean. They also have both a regular and a vegetarian shepherd's pie. You can sit indoors or outside on their patio. They are one of a few restaurants in Boca Raton that serves food after midnight.

It gets dirty and wild at this place but it's an Irish pub! You wouldn't expect anything more or anything less. Every weekend a new band performs some usuals. FAU regulars and new. It's a fun time and prices are affordable for Mizner park.

Let me begin with the good before I rip into the terrible and rude service that I received here. Brenna R. and I came for happy hour a few weeks ago. On the menu, they have a spinach and kale salad. The salad includes goat cheese, so I asked if the goat cheese used animal rennet. It does, so the chef came over to chat with us. He recommended a few other alternatives to add a cheese on the salad and keep it vegetarian. He was very friendly and explained the other items on the menu that would cater to my diet. At this point, things are going great for Brenna and I. We order a few items and finally (cheat day!) dessert. We decided on the fondue. The waitress asked if we wanted to add a shot of something in it. She failed to mention that it was $8 extra for that shot. Should we have asked or should she have told us upfront? Anyway, I see the bill and it was $16 for the chocolate fondue dessert. I asked the one girl who seemed to be training people (possibly a manager) because the waitress was now too busy chatting with the couple next to us. The other girl told us that is how it is and too bad. Not in those words, but with her attitude, she was basically telling us to [enter curse word] off. We started out having a great night. We then lose our waitress to the couple next to us because a girl who used to work there showed up. After that, we get a (possibly) manager to finish up with us who showed us no respect. The chef was awesome, friendly and ready to accommodate to my dietary needs. The staff, on the other hand, was absolutely rude. I will never come back here again.

Okay, I write this review with some mixed feeling. The food at the Dubliner is good and the portions hearty. They are however rather expensive for pub food. I suppose you are paying for the real estate... I get it, Mizner Park - if you aren't a local what that means is expensive cars, hunky dudes and blonde dyed hair babes. That said I recommend going there on an off night: let's say Sunday! Or even Monday night... That is the best time The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And yeah the food is good... But it is extremely overpriced for pub food. 70 bucks for a fish sandwich a salad couple of beers and a small appetizer! A bit pricey. Highly recommended that you buy a Groupon. At least you'll save 15 bucks or so... For a more authentic casual laid-back atmosphere that will give you pub experience hit up the Blue Anchor or the Lion and the Eagle - both within reasonable driving distance at half the price!

Love the Dubliner. The food is fantastic-don't think you are limited by the Irish pub label. Lamb burger and fish is fresh and very good. Get the Brussels sprouts hash. The wait staff is the best. The manager loves dig- ours just was treated to a roast beef nosh. We stop every time we are heading to Miami.

Great food, musicians, and trivia nights. Servers and bartenders are friendly and make excellent food suggestions. I enjoy sitting outside in front of the Dubliner on a nice day/evening. The bar gets a little crowded for my tastes at night.

Third time there but never ate inside. Very dingy atmosphere so I was a little disappointed. Very loud. I must say the food is always great! Three of us had the salmon, it was cooked to perfection. The owner came over and introduced himself. Lovely man. We will defiantly go back. Last time I had the Irish dip and loved it. Oh are server was great. He was very patient with us because we were talking so much and not looking at the menu. I liked my wine it was a Cab.

Came here for sunday brunch around 12, we were seated right away despite the art show going on in mizner. Our server wasn't very attentive, however there were multiple servers who noticed us waiting and were quick to assist. So I'm thinking it was just the server we had. Food was incredible, they had bottomless mimosas for $15 which were certainly tempting. The place looks a little run down on the inside but for the food and drinks I would definitely be back. All in all a cool spot in mizner.

We had a big group of 20ish people on a busy trivia night and everyone had a great time over good food and beer. The Mac n cheese is so good! We didn't win at trivia, but it was fun and a good change for a Tuesday night. If you're looking for something a little different, check it out.

Tried for the first time today. Went for early dinner after reading good reviews. We ordered the curry soup and the Gorgonzola pear salad to start. The soup was spicy and the meat was like butter. Unfortunately, for $9.50, the salad left much to be desired. It was like they emptied a bag of field greens onto the plate, threw in a few candied walnuts, then gave a stingy sprinkle of Gorgonzola on it. Whenever I've eaten this kind of salad, the pears have been sliced thin and super crisp. The pears on this salad were big chunks that I didn't even touch. The dressing was very oily and bland. A tangy vinaigrette would have been much more complimentary. We ordered shepherds pie to share. It's served in a skillet and looks good. The best way to describe it is meaty and flavorful. I enjoyed the flavor, but would have liked more veggies. This is just personal preference. I realize that most people ordering shepherds pie expect a meaty dish, so if that's you, go for it. Service was polite and fast. Next time, I'll start with the cheese board instead of an overpriced lackluster pile of greens.

Stopped in for a quick meal and a beer...decided on fish and chips with a Murphy's stout. I had been here before but will update my comments with a 5*---the fish and chips was outstanding. The fish was a thick filet, very flaky and moist, with a thin and crispy crust. Have had F&C all over, included more in Ireland than I can remember (probably due to beer). This was very, very good. The chips were steak fry type...some would like, some not...perfect for me. Service was prompt and very friendly, the food came quickly. And the owner stopped by for a nice thank you. Just a solid restaurant with good food and drink. Well done!

Have been to the Dubliner many times and Sean, the owner is a real gem. we both hail for Ireland. Our last experience was absolutely shocking. My wife and 11yr old daughter we subjected to two of the most foul mouthed females I have ever encountered at a restaurant. I called the duty manage over to ask to have these two characters to stop with the foul language. The duty manager was either inept, very inexperienced or just didn't care. We had to simply pay the bill and get out of the place.I just couldn't have my daughter around these type of disgusting people. I have to say, I have always had a great experience and brought many members of my family here, tough that was the last time we will visit. Management, staff and Management training and more training. Sorry Sean

Always a great time at the Dub! They always seem to have an incredible live band when I go here. I haven't ate here yet but I have only heard great things about their Irish dishes. This is a great place to enjoy some drinks and company!

We had dinner here 2 weeks ago and all the food was amazing! We got the fondue appetizer which was maintained warm by a candle the entire time and tasted awesome. My husband got a cheeseburger for dinner and I ordered the shepherd's pie. The cheeseburger was good, but the shepherd's pie was hands down the best I've ever had. All the ingredients had a great flavor. On top of all this we had a nice view sitting outside, had great service, and the owner stopped by our table to greet us. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be back next time we're in the area.

"Real" corned beef sliders, beef sliders with medium rare meat and mac & cheese better than mac & cheese is capable of being! When I say "real" corned beef, I refer to the corned beef like we make at home and like the corned beef I used to get in the NY delis in the 80's. Real flavor, tender and it doesn't have that weird texture that so many of the commercial corned beef(s) have today. (Some even have an off-putting moist layer... OK, I am trying to avoid the word "slime". It makes me shiver.) Not the case here. Order the corned beef with confidence and anticipation. I bit into the beef slider and thought I noticed something familiar but couldn't place my finger (or tongue) on it right away. It took three bites before I figured it out... the beef was medium rare!!! It has been so many years since I have had a sandwich with medium rare beef in a restaurant I cannot remember the last time. I am really excited about this! I had just got so used to the brown, well done, low/no flavor slices served I was resigned to that fact of life. And the mac & cheese. Hardly fair to refer to it as mac & cheese. It was a wondrous mixture of the pasta and cheese but then there was the bacon, truffle oil and the bread crumbs on top! Fortunately, I was sharing the dishes with my family or I would have eaten way too much. The serving was not small. Two can definitely revel in delight with one serving. And I do have to give high praise to the staff. They were caught off guard when we "Ordered the Yelp" and they had no idea what we were talking about. And they had no truffle oil, either. Did that stop this intrepid team of professionals... NO! They went over to Sur la Table and got the truffle oil and prepared the dish for us...smiling all the while. I am so glad they are of such a high caliber and made it happen. It was wonderful and so is the staff. I highly recommend the Dubliner. They have it all.

If I could give a zero rating I would. This place should be on the don't dine here list!! Stay away! ! Two of us went there to experience Irish food. I Ordered Celtic salad... after an abnormally long wait he brought me some one else's order. He brought my friend his correct order of corn beef sandwich and potatoes both were tasteless and the potatoes were frozen. This was far from an authentic Irish meal! ! He had better corn beef at Dennys. He also ordered coke which was bitter and lacked carbonation. When he told the server it was not drinkable the server brought back another one that treated even worse than the first. I told the hostess to ask our server to get me the correct order. After another 10 minutes he finally came over. Another 5 minutes past before he brought the correct order which was tasteless and nothing like the description on the menu. I asked for the manager. When he came I told him that the good was tasteless and unacceptable. He was pleasant and took our plates away and we left and went to a much better eating establishment. I suspect that in order to enjoy a meal there you have to have a lot of Irish whiskey. Bottom line. .. I've never had such a bad taste and service like this in years. If you're smart and want good Irish food this is NOT the place. .Stay away! !!

Went on a Sat night. Weather was beautiful so asked to sit outside. Front row seats fo watch the Boca plastic surgery parade in Mizner. Very friendly staff. Give them 5 stars. If you are not there for HH the drinks are overpriced. Fish special was a lightly blackenen mahi over a sweet potato mash and wilted spinach. The fish was fantastic. Cooked perfectly. The spinach had too much garlic so I did not finish. Potatoes were good. Wife liked her salad with grilled chicken. Had kale in it which I though was a bit tough but she loved it. No desert.

I have been here many times. It's a fun spot. However - the drinks were not strong. I asked the server about this and she immediately went back to the bar and had more vodka added. Prior it tasted like plain cranberry. The roast beef and corned beef sliders were way too fatty for my liking. The corned beef dinner was good and lean. The scotch eggs are just ok.

The portions were kinda small, and the atmosphere was more America sports bar than Irish pub, the "offer" in yelp is well past expiration and the staff won't honor it. Their happy hour last to 7 which is a plus. But it's loud and crowded. The staff was nice and patient with new comers who can't decide what they want. Ill likely go back, but there are better options if you're looking for the "Irish pub" thing.

Short version: This is a fun place to play trivia on Tuesday nights. The food and service is decent. Longer version: Came here with a group of friends to play trivia. I ordered the fish and chips and a Stella (they have a nice selection of beer if you are so inclined!) I enjoyed my fish and chips, but don't remember them being particularly spectacular (OK, the chips were pretty good or maybe that was the beer talking? ha!) In all, this place is pretty fun. I'd love to update my review after coming back just for something to eat and drink, and not on a trivia night. For now, this place is A-OK in my book!

Over the years Dubliner has really evolved from a casual bar (and not known for it's food) into this modern bar with an excellent menu to boot. Though I am not a huge fan of the pretentious Mizner Park, I have come to visit the Dubliner for a drink or two in the past (never ate here before). The bar scene here has a youthful crowd and the restaurant scene is quite mixed (youthful all the way up to seeing a few retirees). Upon arrival the wait was to be approximately 30 minutes; give them your mobile number and your free to walk around rather than stand uncomfortably (I like this a lot). I don't mind the wait; hopefully its a sign that the food is worth the wait. We got an outside table as requested and immediately greeted by our friendly waiter John E. We were with another couple and everyone was hungry so we wanted a couple table appetizers. The waiter assisted in making some suggestions upon our request (hopefully good suggestions). Although I never order my main dishes until my appetizers are not only ordered but also eaten, but on this occasion the decision to order appetizers came after we ordered main dishes as an after thought. We were waiting for quite some time and no appetizers came; I told the waiter I didn't mind the wait but was adamant that I did not want my main dish to come while appetizers are still on the table. He said okay and explained the kitchen was slammed (but like I said, I did not mind the wait as we were with good company with good conversation anyway). Oh no, main dishes arriving and no appetizers. A sincere apology from John E and he said he would talk to the chef and manager and get this fixed. Our appetizers of warm brie and corn beef sliders arrived and turns out the suggestions were well received. Shortly after our main dishes came and those were excellent (shepard's pie was delicious and huge, brisket was tender and hardly any fat, other dishes I didn't try but looked good). The long wait for our appetizers would have easily earned a lesser score from me except that the manager and/or waiter credited back a whole lot of items on our bill. The waiter thanked us for being patient and even pointed out we are saints compared to the way other patrons complain. They comped us iced tea, four glasses of wine, two bottles of beer, warm brie appetizer and the corn beef slider appetizer (we only paid for the main dishes). For a rare occasion, a restaurant did the right thing without being asked and it is duly appreciated and recognized.

This is a great place to come here for drinks. Honestly I have never tried the food but every time I have been with people who have gotten food, it always looks really great and I here nothing but good things. The service is always really great and the atmosphere and vibe is a lot of fun. Everytime I am there the owner is there which i like. He seems like he takes great pride in his pub and is very engaging with all the customers. The service is always good and the servers are always very attentive. I suggest coming on karaoke night as well. I came one time with my family and it was so much fun. I like seeing people perform and have fun!

Dubliner Irish pub.... What more need I say?? You get what you see, bangers and mash? Fantastic! 3 sautéed bangers with a bacon and cabbage slaw and Classic Irish mash... How do you go wrong? Corned beef and cabbage? Yup. Thinly and delicately sliced corned beef over the same traditional cabbage. With mash of course. Check in for half off the "Yelp Mac n Cheese" or "bursting Mac n cheese."; monetary and Irish cheddar cheeses, with a touch of Guinness, topped off with breadcrumbs, BACON, and a white truffle oil after having a torched to a crisp top! Seriously though, it should be illegal. I recommend dining at the bar early in the night, as this becomes a hot spot for other restaurants' customers, as Dubliner is open late. Bartenders are epic! Ask for Tara or Ally and relax! ORDER "THE YELP"

This is one of our favorite places to go for a beer, happy hour or dinner. It is THE BEST PLACE to go on St. Patrick's Day! It's a bit of Ireland in trendy Boca Raton. I was surprised that the first foot I stepped into this place,9:30pm, servers were busy, and a man approached me, with menus, took our order, sat us at a table. Later come to find he is the owner(sean). I was pretty blown away. It's hard to find places where people care. He also walked next door to get a gluten free beer for my friend / brewed coffe for me when they had none made that late at night.. That's stellar service! Alright now the food has been pretty d*mn good. Scotch eggs, one of the salads was great, love their sandwiches -corn beef-french dip are amazing, lamb burger is an all time fav with that Guinness reduction BBQ sauce. The bison steak unfortunately wasn't my thing. You can come at different times, some quiet / some loud. You can catch a ball game, a live band, karaoke, enjoy outdoor smoking, they have a beautiful staff. What more do you need? It's about the only thing open till 2. I'm from Miami so it's hard to adjust to things closing @ 2am.

I came here during Tastemakers on Tuesday night. They were serving huge portions of hot Shepard's Pie and Guinness Mac & Cheese along with a cup of Special Black Velvet (combination of Guinness and cider). The servers and employees at Dubliner were really enthusiastic and had great conversation skills. My friend and I sat down outside at one of their tables to eat the food. It was disappointing, I felt that the Shepard's Pie was really salty and made with basic ground beef, vegetables, and mashed potatoes on top of it. I've had better. As for the mac and cheese, it was a bit better but had a weird texture to it, tasted like panko crusted on top of it. The Special Black Velvet wasn't that great... I do like Guinness and cider, but with them both mixed... hell no. My friend didn't like her meal either, so we felt bad that we had to toss it all into the trash. So, based on the Tastemakers menu from Dubliner, I more likely will not be coming here for a meal, but for drinks instead (if I am with good company). I find that Slainte's in Boynton Beach serves better food, too.

Let me first say I was doing everything I could to avoid Boca and especially Mizner Park...not my 'cup of tea' of people. BUT.... I love Irish pubs and I was hungry. We stopped in last night and I was very impressed. We first ordered an appetizer of chicken drummies....they were TO DIE FOR. They were drenched in some type of sauce (maybe Guinness)?? and they were crispy on the outside but cooked perfectly. I followed those up with a glass of Crown Royal to really get the appetite working before our hamburgers and fries came. My hamburger was excellent. Perfectly cooked and huge crispy French fry wedges. They even had two different mustards to choose from that tasted homemade. The best part was the crowd was friendly, the server was super friendly, and the manager/owner (not sure which one) came to our table at the beginning of our meal and also when we were paying to thank us for coming in. I haven't seen that at all since I've lived in Boca so that said alot about the place to me....they still value each customer. They also played real Irish music in the background so it really set the jive of the night. Definitely check out Dubliner if you so happen to wonder into Mizner Park.

Decent bar for Boca Raton. Have not eaten here only drank. Bartenders were friendly and the band was pretty good. I would like to go back and try the food soon.

Not so authentic but I nice selection of beer. The place is kind of small on the inside but they put tables outside as well. They didn't have cider on tap, a bit disappointing. I haven't eaten here yet, but I'd try another irish pub before coming back here.

Came to Dubliner Irish Pub after laying out at the Beach nearby for an early Dinner. My Man and walked around Mizner and it such great people watching to do. We were greeted by the Hostess outside and we decided inside with the AC is a great thing after laying out. It' s a pretty dark bar with the black interior, but surprisingly warm. The waitress was super nice and kept our waters filled she was very attentive, one of the best waitresses I can say I've had. The Menus are simple and on a Large Paper that comes placed on a Large Clipboard. He ordered the Slow Roasted Beef Brisket it came with an Irish Stout Demi-Glaze and delicious you can really taste the booze it was melt in your mouth and prefect. It came with Roasted Vegetables and Mash, he ordered double Veggies instead and came out with assortment of Veggies including halved Brussels Sprouts. I ordered the Corned Beef on Fresh Rye Sandwich which I asked toasted .. I recommend that! The Corned Beef was lean and piled high with Cabbage, and Sweet Grain Mustard .. really prefect and I added more Grain Mustard which I love. The Sandwich came with Thick Cut Potato Wedges they call Planks, these are amazing and Im not a big Potato fan. The waitress came to ask how everything was and the Manager came over to check on us later as well. We had a Great Meal. I saw on the Menu that Dubliner is the same owners as DaDa's and Tryst .. No Wonder they have the Restaurant Biz to a Science . Great Job Thank You For Your Experience it Shows! Yes we will be back and probably when there's a live band.

Great place to come for a bite and a drink. Every night they seem to be busy and have something fun going on. Great location in Mizner. Good food and beer. Five stars.

Our waitress Emily was friendly and vey efficient. I had the fondue and my husband the brisket. Both came out together and hot. Food was very tasty and portions were good. Brisket dinner was 16.00 and fondue was 13.50. We used a groupon. Happy hour beer prices very fair for Boca. 2.50 for a bud light and 3.00 for Sam Adams. Beer prices were happy hour prices which is till 7pm.

Can I just say what an awesome little place this was! From very get go no line or waiting for a table, for a Saturday night I was surprised but more than happy to follow hostess! The waitress was attentive although I felt just a tiny but rushed in the beginning, but overall she was excellent! She even gave a sample of the curry soup to one of my girlfriends before ordering. Ordered the baked Brie as an appetizer which I loved and could've eaten more! Warm and soft served with warm bread and a blueberry/raspberry sauce! So delicious for the cheese lovers. My dinner was a special which was found not on the menu. When the waitress told us the specials I was done! Braised short ribs, served over a bed of sautéed spinach and small potatoes on the side. Short ribs were so tender, very juicy, could taste some roasted garlic. No knife needed! The potatoes were traditional small yellow potatoes, nothing out of the ordinary. During dinner, I'm assuming he was the manager, came to the table and asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. The restaurant was converting to more of a stand up bar while the DJ was setting up. The tables were being put away as the customers were leaving. Overall I had such a great experience there and left dreaming about the baked Brie and short ribs.

Fun place, and great food, albeit small portions. I love their Scotch Eggs, but come on - just one Egg??? Anyway, I used to visit this place quite often, several times per week. BUT on St. Patrick's Day (March 17, 2015 they really pissed me off because of their false / deceptive advertising, hence the drop from five stars to only one. Their Ad, on their web page clearly stated the following: "IRISH BUFFET, Tons of the Dubliner's award-winning Irish Fare including our House-cured Corned Beef, Shepherds Pie, and many more. And, of course plenty of Guinness flowing!" A buffet, by definition is "all you can eat" where guests serve themselves - not a micromanaged one plate only mini serving, served by the "food police", dictating the maximum number sausage links you may have - which was only two! I was really looking forward to a night of fun at the Dubliner, but ended up going to have a real dinner elsewhere. I'm glad I was able to warn enough friends, on my Facebook, who then warned their friends - as they were all headed out to this place, but ended up going elsewhere after they heard about this nonsense!

First night in Boca and decided to visit this place, service for a Wednesday was a bit slow but not too shabby. I blame the fact that our waiter rather service the lovely ladies sitting outside rather than our table, can't really blame him for that. But the food was amazing, I tried the Irish slider and Salmon potato pancake and both were amazingly good. I would come back just to have these two dishes again. The mac and cheese looked good but was lacking in flavor, needed more salt or better choice in cheese to give it that extra umph!

If there was one establishment that was not like the others in Mizner Park, it would be this Irish pub. It doesn't look pretentious and they serve simple, Irish comfort food. The prices are affordable and it's great to grab a bite to eat on the patio during happy hour. Draft beers are half off and their sliders are only $2 each! I got a trio of fish, Irish sausage, and brisket. Cold buns aside, each slider was delicious and the perfect snack before dinner.

I'm really starting to embrace the idea that a relatively quick jaunt up I-95 into Broward and Palm Beach counties opens up an entirely different brand of nightlife from what I'm used to in Miami. I still maintain that it feels more "real" up here; bars like this are more just a bunch of normal people blowing off steam. I don't get as much of the low-class element, nor do I see as much of the "I'm such a big deal" attitude that pervades some of the more-popular 305-area establishments. I'd choose this place over the Brickell Irish Pub every single day. The beer list is far better, and on the night I visited, there was a band playing quirky country-fied tunes. I don't think I'd ever heard a folksy rendition of "Gin & Juice" before. At first this band just made me think "WTF," but I was getting into it. I especially liked their take on Tom Petty's "American Girl." There were people up front dancing to this stuff, in a rather odd manner that I've never seen before - I got a kick out of it. The waitress took the piss out of me a little, I think, which I also had to laugh at - since it was getting late and I wanted to taper down my alcohol intake for the drive home, I ordered a bottle of Unibroue's Ephemere Apple, which I admit, is something of a girly beer. She brings me the bottle. I ask for a glass, because I'm a snob and don't drink from bottles. She asks me if I want *caramel* on my glass. I look at her like she's got two heads and ask her what she said, because I didn't quite hear her. Apparently this bar serves Ephemere in a caramel-rimmed glass, which is a novel idea, I guess. There was just something in the way she asked it, I think she was making fun of me for ordering a girly beer ;) Needless to say, I turned down the caramel-rimmed glass, having already received a couple points against my man-license for ordering an apple wheat beer. I like this place.

If you're trying to spend a night in Mizner Park, there aren't a lot of nightlife options and you'll undoubtedly end up here because A) they have booze and B) they often have live music. It's not a very big place, so it gets pretty claustrophobic, but at least they open it up and let the crowd spill out into the hallway. It's nice and it serves a purpose but it's not going to change your life. However it does get credit for being one of the longest-standing tenants of Mizner Park, which seems like a revolving door for most businesses.

My friend and I came here at around 11:00pm to meet up with some people who were in town from Orlando. It was my first time at Dubliner, even though I had heard of it many times. I was surprised to see how small the inside is, but the atmosphere was pretty cool. They have a mainly young, professional crowd but anything goes here in terms of age. There was a great live band that night playing some alternative rock covers. Like I said, the inside is small but there is plenty of room to dance if you'd like. They also have a great outside area with lots of tables to just hang out and have a drink. Their drink prices were decent considering the location. We weren't there early enough to check out their food menu but I'm definitely looking forward to next time.

Met up with some friends here last night around 7:30pm and stayed 'til after 11pm chatting and drinking on the patio. The food is good here and we had excellent service, but the scene of regulars is what puts people off, IMO. We weren't there for more than half an hour before some partying ladies started dancing on the tables in the bar and causing a ruckus; then there were the Snooki lookalikes and the guys who'd hang out to look at them (but apparently not date or talk to them) and talk with each other in louder than necessary voices while nearly bumping into our table. There was also the disdainful staring that ensued from the "I smelled a fart" permanent facial expression folks. You can't control the customers you attract when you're in Mizner Park, but as a customer you can figure out where you may fit in a little better. As for others' comments about the food not having enough healthy choices: you went to an Irish pub and expected something other than recognizably traditional Irish fare. It's fattening for the same reason that recognizably traditional Southern fare is, and they actually had more somewhat healthy choices than the average pub by offering any at all. Complaining about a lack of healthy choices at a pub is like going to a raw vegan restaurant and complaining that there's no steak on the menu.

This place is like the Irish version of Cheers. I know it sounds like a regular ole Irish pub, but don't judge this book by it's cover. It has become a frequent place to go grab a casual drink or stay a bit later and get rowdy with the band. They have live bands playing 7 nights a week which is something you can't really find anywhere else. This is our "go to" spot when friends are in town because it just has a great vibe to it and it's in the middle of Mizner so we can hop around if needed. The food here is insane. DEFINITELY not "bar food". We are creatures of habit and get the same thing here most of the time, which is their Lamb Burger. Hands down, one of the best burgers, beef included, I've ever had. Comes with gorgonzola, pickled onions and bacon. My wife loves their salad offerings and also waits to see what their specials are since they always have a fresh catch special. I highly recommend their mussels to start out with. And the Guinness wings and fondue are a close 2nd. Great selection of the usual suspects (yes, they have Guinness & Harp) in addition to a hefty craft beer selection. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It's definitely quieter and more kid-friendly earlier in the evening but after dark it turns into a pretty hopping nightlife scene.

While visiting my in-laws in Florida, I discovered this fun-looking Irish pub/restaurant in the Mizner Park area of Boca Raton. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was very good, too! I tried the crab cakes, and the fact that they contain all crab and no stuffing made them both unique and delicious. For my entree, I had their award-winning Shepherd's pie...yum! Next time I find myself in the area, I will definitely be back for more!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made it this past week. Hubby liked it better than I did, I thought the service was excellent, our server was very helpful and nice and the food came out hot and fast, but it tasted just ok. Might go again and try something else, we'll see.

I don't really have much to say about this place. It is a small Irish pub located in Mizner Park in Boca Raton. It has a full liquor bar and features Irish cuisine. The crowd is usually mixed but mostly consisting of people in their late 20's to 30's, and it usually gets pretty crowded later in the evening. One thing that I liked is that there has always been a live cover band every time that I have visited. One memorable moment was hearing the song "Gin and Juice" performed as a country/ folk version, a little strange but surprisingly entertaining. I would recommend this place for anyone who is just looking to have a relaxed, laid-back evening with friends while enjoying a few beers.

The Dubliner is a great place for Happy Hour. I wouldn't go when drinks are regularly priced because they are a little steep. It's always a lively crowd. They have Karaoke and Trivia on certain nights. I order the Lamb Burger every time I eat there because it is simply to die for, it's huge! The crowd is mixed. The large pipe on the ceiling over the bar will leak on you so I would suggest sitting at a table. The service is always fast and friendly.

Took awhile to get drinks. Irish sliders were really tasty, wings had good flavor but were undercooked. Dont bother ordering kids grilled cheese, they were rolls with cheese, kids wouldnt touch them. Banana bread pudding was the best part of the evening. Oh and the worst part, They only have one stall restrooms, one for men's/women's, went on a weekday night and there was a line. Can't imagine what happens on the weekends.

I have been to the Dubliner Irish Pub on a number of different occasions, but it's usually been to enjoy some adult beverages and let loose while listening to live, local bands jam out. Well, after my last experience, where the night began with dinner, I will definitely be making it a point to eat at this Irish Pub more often. The first thing I noticed when I was given a large clipboard securing a paper with Celtic font writing, was that the top of the menu shares the exact same quote that I have on my foodie website, "There is no love sincerer than the love of food" -George Bernard Shaw. This gives Dubliner extra points in the cool column, but that's not enough to get two thumbs up off the bat. Fortunately, the giant menu encompassed enough deliciousness to win my approval. Their selection is surprisingly large, offering both traditional Irish fare and a few other selections for those looking for something more familiar. Since I was with a big group, I got to scoot around our outdoor, pub-height table and wedge in between my friends' barstools to sample a little bit of everything. I was really taken back by how good the food was at what I always considered to be a "bar." I couldn't help but order the Salmon Potato Pancakes since I was hoping they would deliver the same euphoria that the ones I ate at CIA (St. Helena, CA) did. They weren't quite that good, but did not disappoint. Everything from the Irish Dip to the Fish and Chips was excellent. The fries are unreal- I would describe them as a potato wedge with the taste of a crisp potato skin. Sadly, my first choice of beef brisket had been 86'd for the night (it must be pretty darn good), but now I have something to look forward to next time, along with the banana bread pudding that I was too full to order. Slainte!

Love Tuesday Trivia nights here! It's a low key way to go out on the week day and hang out with your friends. Starts at 8pm and can get crowded quickly. $5 per teams of 5 people. Get ready to lose! (Monday night Karaoke and live bands other nights) The menu mostly consists of Irish dishes and are all pretty tasty. I wouldn't recommend the salads however, bad experience more than once. Nothing I've ordered has jumped out as outstanding, but the portions are worth the price (Mac-n-cheese is huge!). Service is usually good to sufficient. Overall classy sports bar vibe... a few TVs. Outside seating for entertaining people watching. The surrounding Mizner plaza has great variety of other things to do too (bars, amphitheater, shopping, restaurants, fro yo, etc...) Beth's Tip: Dubliner has tons of Groupon deals and coupons so don't come without one :)

Def no hole in the wall. Go here a lot. Great brews bands and people, gets packed on the weekends. I'm defiantly not crazy about the Mac and cheese but the burgers looked good and cheese platter, also great chicken wings. I really do love going to hang out here sit outside and people watch, The CRAZY INSANE PART:::: NEVER ONCE HAVE THEY EVER POURED MY BFFS GUINNESS CORRECTLY!! IT IS AN IRISH BAR GEEEZ!!!! Sorry can't give the 5 stars till they learn Irish bar 101.

First off, this place has one of the best burgers in the world! Love the Guinness Mac N Cheese, but I only like 30% of the menu. In their favor I have to say, traditional Irish food isn't my thing. I'm more into Italian or Mexican lol. The best thing about this place is their manager Sean. I've been going here off and on for 7 years and have worked in the restaurant business for way to long. He might have the best customer service I've ever seen! From pets to people this guy believes in the best hospitality when it comes to his guest.

Given the "yuppie" atmosphere that surrounds Mezner Park, this place is pretty good. The Irish bill of fare is good. I had Shepards Pie and my girl had Fish and Chips, both were excelent. We ate outside, this was both good and bad. The tables were all over the sidewalk so there was constant traffic moving back and forth (bad). Because of that however, the people watching was excelent (good). There was a live band the night that we were there and because of this, the place was packed. All in all we had an excelent time and would have no trouble going back.

This place is hot and happenin in Boca. I found the crowd pretty mixed, but Happy Hour on Friday's is a young professional mix of revelers. The outdoor sating is great, and the long communal tables add to the welcoming atmosphere. The TV's are discreet but visible behind the beautiful dark bar, that's very reminiscent of a Georgian Dublin pub. Food is good, if predictable and British. BUT WATCH OUT FOR FLAT BEER! ( I took away a star for that as I have sent about three beers back in the past) Sidle up to the bar, draw on it, and chat with the staff. Be sure to say hi to Sean, who is always roaming round!

Some people aren't very fond of this place, but I love it. I would have given it five stars, but I'm not that experienced in the area of Irish food, so I can't say its hands down the best Irish food on the planet. The environment is awesome. Its open and loud. Oftentimes they have cool bands playing. The waiting staff are super helpful and really pleasant. The owner walks around and talks to all of the customers and is in love with his restaurant. One time I asked him about one of the dishes I ordered and he got so into explaining the dish that he forgot what he was doing. He talked to us for over five minutes about it. He started pouring water into my glass and was so busy talking it was overflowing in the glass, and he didn't immediately notice. Once he noticed, he cleaned it up quickly, and immediately apologized. He paid for our whole meal. Its refreshing to see an owner that is so passionate about the business he runs. The food is amazing too. They have this mac and cheese that is amazing. They cook Guinness in it. You must try it while you are there. It's hard to go wrong with food there, but I always get the bangers and mash. Yes, I know it sounds strange, but it's great. It's Irish sausage and mashed potatoes. Very tasty if you like sausage. Make sure you get Goodall's sauce with it. It adds a great flavor to the sausage. If your not into sausage, try the shepherds pie, amazing! FYI, it's a lot of food. Try it. Enjoy the place and the food.

Very good food, but a bit pricey. The service is unmatched, the owner of this place came to our table to see how we were doing and make sure the service was up to par. I have no complaint with anything but the price, it looks like this place probably jumps off on Friday and Saturday nights.

Good Irish-inspired food. Best thing on the menu is the rare (I mean rare) roast beef sandwich. The shepherds pie is good and plenty for two people. They have live entertainment on the weekends and if you get there at the right time, you can listen to the live acts at the amphitheatre for free while tipping back a few proper pints of Guinness.

Every other Irish Pub offers great beer but what about the food...it's usually just bar food. At The Dubliner, you can experience REAL Irish food. Try the Bangers and Mash!!! Not too mention the ambiance, the dog friendly attitude and the music at night. I love this place and my husband and I go there all the time!

This bar is awesome. The Irish guy who owns it is awesome. The food is authentic Irish food (and even better), the atmosphere is nothing like Dublin but hey, its in Mizner Park. Great overall.

How could you not enjoy this pub? Its laid back Ireland with portraits of Oscar Wilde. Music is always great from classic to contemporary rock n'roll. People of all ages are there. The whole layout of tasteful rustic Ireland creates a great ambiance with good ale and wine. The food stays true to traditional Irish cusine from shepards pie to stuffed cabbage. But the star of the show is: the Banana Bread Pudding- it's fantastic out of this world; Every time I have guest from out of town I bring them here starting with ale and finishing off with the bread pudding (i-kid-u-not it's the BEST). I assure you a great time.

fun place and totally bumping. =) we grabbed a table for about 15 outside on the sidewalk, a few minutes before it started getting really crowded (mixed crowd). good service, full bar and their table tops are made of chalkboard, and they provide a glass of different colored chalk, so you can play hangman on the table as you wait for your next drink.
